Background:

Before joining the USC faculty, Dr. Taylor was a lecturer in pathology at the University of Oxford for five years. After 30 years as a USC professor, Dr. Taylor was named chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Southern California. He has also served three years as president of the Association of Pathology Chairs, three years as president of the Biological Stain Commission and chair of the FDA Panel for Diagnostic Devices.
