Background:
Dr. Wassef earned her MD degree from Albany Medical College in 1993. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Loma Linda Medical Center in 1994 and her diagnostic radiology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1998. This was followed by a 12-month nuclear medicine fellowship and 4-month body imaging fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Wassef is currently assistant professor of clinical radiology and associate director of the Nuclear Medicine Residency Program at the Keck School of Medicine.
