Background:

Dr. Donovan attended the University of Southern California as an undergraduate before returning years later for his residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. He teaches Medical Students, Medicine Residents and GI fellows about Liver Transplant Hepatology.  Dr. Donovan has been published in numerous medical journals and written book chapters, abstracts and peer-reviewed articles. Of additional note, Dr. Donovan has served as Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Liver Foundation and served as past president of the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology.
