Background:

An accomplished medical author and journal reviewer, Dr. Lu has made a mark in the southern California medical community. After graduating from medical school at UCLA, Dr. Lu has held positions at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and numerous academic appointments at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. In 2006 she became a distinguished member of the Association of American Physicians and has participated in a variety of government activities, NIH study sections and serves on the editorial board of several journals as well as the associate editor of  the Encyclopedia of Gastroenterology and the journal Hepatology.
