Background:

Dr. Mo completed her professional education in Texas. After finishing her undergraduate degree in psychology from Rice University in Houston, Dr. Mo attended medical school at the University of Texas - Houston Health Science Center. Dr. Mo then completed her internship, residency and a fellowship in cardiology at the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While at USC, Dr. Mo has continued her research in the fields of preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, echocardiography and cardiovascular disease in women. She is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. In addition, she has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed articles for prominent medical journals and has had the honor of lecturing in Xining, China and the Qinghai University Medical School regarding "Medicine in the United States."
