Background:

After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, Dr. Kang attended UCLA where he earned his Master in Public Health emphasizing in epidemiology, a population-based approach to healthcare. He then attended the Drexel University College of Medicine where he earned his medical doctorate. After finishing both his internship and residency at USC, Dr. Kang continued to practice here in order to contribute to its amazing and unique academic environment. He has been involved in teaching since his undergraduate years, and it continues to be an important part of his academic service. In addition, Dr. Kang has strong interests in the fair allocation of efficient and quality healthcare services. As an internest, Dr. Kang strives to form a partnership with every patient and believes one of his most important roles is being his patient's advocate for better heatlh.
