Radiation Oncology – Assistant or Associate Professor

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time board certified/board eligible radiation oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.  Responsibilities will include patient care and teaching.  The radiation oncology program consists of facilities at the USC/Norris Cancer Center, the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center and the USC University Hospital. 
 
The Department is affiliated with the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.  The program is an affiliate member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and also participates in trials sponsored by the South West Oncology Group and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project Group, and Gynecology Oncology Group.  The Department is looking to recruit a candidate highly interested in pursuing an academic career in Radiation Oncology.
The Department of Radiation Oncology in the new LAC+USC Medical Center is equipped with 3 new Varian Linacs (21EX), Varian VariSource, Varian Acuity Simulator and GE CT Simulator, along with other high-end supportive technologies.  The program evaluates approximately 1,000 new patients annually.  There is an ACGME accredited residency training program.  The Department at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center is equipped with a state-of the art Varian Trilogy, Cyberknife, and Perfexion Gammaknife, with active programs in HDR, IntraBeam, and episcleral plaque bracyhtherapy.
