The Keck School of Medicine of USC, Department of Pediatrics at LAC+USC Medical Center is seeking one full-time junior faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor on the clinical track to provide medical student and postgraduate education within the framework of the Keck School of Medicine and the residency and fellowship training programs, respectively at LAC+USC Medical Center and USC, Los Angeles, CA. The individual will provide clinical service in the 39-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the LAC+USC Medical Center. Applicants will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing educational activities in simulation and clinical research activities in the division. Qualified candidates are expected be board eligible/certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and have a medical license or eligibility to obtain a medical license in the State of California. Candidates are preferred to have background in clinical research in general and in the field of necrotizing enterocolitis and the use of gut-protective strategies in particular.
