Family Medicine - Clinical Instructor (OB)

The USC Department of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine is pleased to announce the introduction of our OB Fellowship, a one year post-residency training opportunity in maternity care. The successful candidate will be appointed as a clinical instructor of family medicine. The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible graduate of a US Residency Program in Family Medicine with a strong interest in expanding obstetrical care skills and will hold an active California Medical License. Fellowship candidates must show proof of being able to work in the United States.

The junior faculty member will receive intensive hands-on training experience in the medical management of normal to high risk obstetrical care in all stages, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The trainee will focus on the management of obstetrical co-morbidities and complications, diagnostic applications, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and teaching of residents and medical students on obstetrical rotations, with the opportunity to participate in USC Family Medicine educational endeavors and projects.
